1930 – 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing on August 25 of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, David (Eva), Philip, Scott (Emilie), Bradley (Malou), grandchildren, Ashley (Karl), Shawn and their children and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters, Lorraine Burkett and Clarice (Don) Graham.
She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Lillian Davies, former husband and friend Ernest Delf, sisters, Dorathy Lowey, Joan McGregor and Patricia Borynsky; daughter-in-law Beatrice Sand, and grandson-in-law Patrick Jones.
Val was a faithful and devoted Wife and Mother and a wonderful and caring Grandma and Great-Grandma. She was a stay at home Mom and enjoyed knitting, cooking, gardening, and playing cards with family and friends. She bowled, rode her bike, tried curling and golfed a little. Val was also an avid book reader and she enjoyed many summer vacations at Grand Beach and St. Malo Provincial Park.
Val worked at MTS and Misericordia Hospital in Medical Records. Later years she worked at Cricklewood & Co. for 11 years.
She always had a smile for everyone and enjoyed life to the fullest. Mom you have left behind memories of great kindness and constant love. You will be forever missed.
"Please don't mourn for me. I had such a good and happy life and look forward to seeing my Lord Jesus Christ."
No memorial service will take place as per Velva's request.
