JUDITH (JUDY) PERKINS
Born in Winnipeg January 16, 1944 to parents, Katherine and Abraham Braun. Judy grew up on Arlington Street with her parents and siblings, always surrounded by her many cousins and friends. She was devoted to her family and friends, a people-person and always there to help, whether assisting the sick and elderly, planning events or whatever might be needed.
Judy enjoyed long term employment with Eaton's and later Rice Financial, her sharp mind and enthusiasm proved to be major assets.
Judy was predeceased by her mother Katherine, father Abraham and nephew Darren. She is survived by her husband Dennis, daughter Cori (Will), son Craig (Jennifer), brothers, Robert (Jeanette) and Dennis (Cheryl), sister Joyce (Raymond), grandsons, Brennan, Dustyn, Jordan, Zachary, Coltan, Chase, Logan and Jaxon; great-grandson Braxton, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
We want to thank the staff at the St. Joseph's Residence for their care and consideration.
A celebration of Judy's life will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

Judy, cousin Marion, my sister Faye and I ‘hung out together’ when my family moved to Winnipeg when we were early teens. Judy and I went to Sisler High School together and we were close cousins. Judy had her daughter, Cori, when i had my daughter, Lorena, and our girls were friends too when they were little. It has been many years since we were in touch with each other, but we did try to keep in touch over the years, at least at Christmas, till Judy became unwell. My thoughts ad prayers are with Dennis, and Judy's siblings and family, we will miss her too. Sending heartfelt sympathies, Donna - Posted by: Donna Schmidt (Second cousin) on: Sep 15, 2021
