LARRY WAYNE POLLOCK
January 11, 1948 - September 6, 2021

After a lengthy fight with an illness, Larry passed away, with his wife Elieen by his side and holding his hand.
Larry leaves to mourn daughter Lana Borges (Pollock) and husband David; son Larry Pollock and (Soula Mikos); and grandchildren, Chris, Livia and Luke. He is survived by his favourite Aunt Marie and many cousins, nieces, nephews. Larry was predeceased by his father William Pollock and mother Eunice Campbell; brother Bill Pollock and sister Barbara Mcleod.
Larry had a hard life growing up but utilized his experiences to dedicate himself to be a hard worker and provide a better life for his family. He excelled at his career as a manager in the transportation industry where he spent over 35 years at Reimer Express Lines.
Living with Larry was never a dull moment as he strived to be the center of attention. You could always count on him to show up at events telling jokes and hunting stories and one could always expect that he would go through great lengths to pull pranks or scare the daylights out of people. It also should be noted that Larry also made for a fearful adversary should you ever end up on his bad side as he lived to stand up for others and fight for what was right. Larry loved movies and music, but his true passion was being outdoors hunting and fishing with good friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at McBey Avenue. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to The Harry J. Enns Discovery Centre "Oak Hammock Marsh", Larry's favourite place in all of Manitoba.

You are finally at peace now "Big Lar".
You were a "Good Fellow",
Forever loved and missed.
