She was predeceased by her husband George (Jiri), mother Jarmila, father Frantisek, as well as her sister Jarmila.
Bozena was born in Czechoslovakia and lived her early years in Hostenice. She fled Czechoslovakia in 1968 and made her way to Winnipeg with her husband George. Once here they began to enjoy the freedom to go camping and travelled throughout Canada, the United States and she even had a chance to travel back to her homeland. She had a love of sewing and used those skills working as a seamstress for many years. In her later years she enjoyed knitting and sitting on her swing surrounded by her flowers.
She is survived by her two children, Robert and George, grandson Evan, as well as her nieces' families back in Czechia.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
