JOSHUA CHASE
March 15, 1985 - September 2, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joshua Chase on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
He was predeceased by his father Bob, mother Barb, and brother Brad. He leaves to mourn his brother Mike (Danielle), niece Windy (Cody), niece Breanna, grandmother Mary and uncle, aunts and cousins.
Joshua was a very kind and caring soul who valued close relationships with family and friends. Also very important to him were his beloved pets Mischa and Piston. He loved to play sports and especially enjoyed hockey. He had a great passion for cooking and grilling and enjoyed sharing meals with friends and family, whether home-cooked or gathering together at a local restaurant. Joshua will ever be remembered for his warm smile, generous ways, and contagious laugh.
A memorial service will be held on October 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 6 Kern Drive in Transcona and will be held in compliance with current provincial health order restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Jarssh, my best man. This broke my heart, buddy, it really did. Oh so many memories, decades worth in fact. The kindest soul I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.  We grew up alongside one another, laughed, cried, and overcame so many obstacles together.  Every single time I needed you, you were there for me. Every single time I needed a friend you were there, and I for you. On my wedding day, helping me raise the kids and building our home, you never once even hesitated to help. Life wasn't easy on you, but you always managed to carry a loving heart while wearing the biggest smile, putting others before yourself with the kind of selfless passion that made everyone love you.  I know the pain you carried though, and my only hope is that you're now at peace, with your Mom, Dad and Brad.  Rest easy my friend, I'll miss you forever. • I was very saddened to learn of Joshua's passing. I remember his passion for hockey when he was younger and that he was a fine young man. I grew up with his father Bob as well with the Chase and Klymochko family. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family that always treated me like family!
