Aunty was a generous, kind person, always thinking of others, she will be missed dearly.
Vickie was predeceased by parents, Michael and Antonia; brothers, William (Rita) and Mitch (Flo).
Vickie will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, Richard, Ron (Shelley), Darren; nieces, Sharon (Jim), Angela (Gary), Shauna (Bruce) and their children/grandchildren, Gail (Ono), Jason (Danielle), Tara (Darrell), Tyler, Chris, Justin (Tannis), Trevor, Kyle, Billy, Carter and Blake. Vickie is also survived by several cousins.
Vickie enjoyed a 37 year career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers that she truly loved and where she made many life-long friendships. Vickie was recognized for her tremendous amount of knowledge of CFL operations and her dedication to the Winnipeg Football Club. In 2001, Vickie was inducted in the "Builder" category. The first and only woman that is in the Bomber Hall of Fame.
The family is so grateful for Richard, who has been so helpful and loving for so many years. We would also like to thank the healthcare workers who assisted Aunty over the past few years.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of the charities that the Blue Bombers support in Vickie's memory, or you can make donation to a charity of your choice.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. Interment will be at the Catholic cemetery in Roblin at a later date.
