Predeceased by son David, Ken is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Laureen (Sean), son Robert (Marlene), daughter-in-law Denise, his sister Helen (Greg), seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
After retiring from the CBC, Ken remained active and made many new friendships at Piston Ring and CJNU. Some of his fondest memories were of his time spent as a Scouts Canada leader with First Crestview, and Bannatyne District. He especially enjoyed the camping and jamborees.
