MARGARET (MARGE) WARD
(nee TELENKO)
September 26, 1926 – August 8, 2021

Peacefully, and surrounded by the love of family, our Mom passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on August 8, 2021.
Mom was predeceased by our father Jack and by all she held dear to her heart. Mom is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her devoted brother Henry and wonderful sister-in-law Julie Telenko. Mom also leaves two special people that were very close to her, Brad Zakaluk and Horst Steigerwald.
Mom was born in Winnipeg and raised in Beausejour and Lac du Bonnet. Mom was drawn back to the Lac du Bonnet area in 1972 where she spent 49 years enjoying her cottage at Bonnet Oaks in the Lee River area. Mom was very sociable and enjoyed the closeness of relatives and friends in the area.
Our family would like to thank her wonderful doctors and the St. Vital home care providers that took the best care of her.
Due to COVID Restrictions, Mom's Celebration of Life will be by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba would be graciously accepted.
