Gone from me, your gentle smiling face,
A generous soul, who won and treasured so many friends.
I hold your love close in my grieving heart,
Struggling alone without your wisdom to guide me.
Quietly you faded away - the grip of your hand let mine go.
Now at peace, free of pain,
Sheltered in the arms of an angel.
In loving memory of my beloved
husband,
so dearly missed - until we meet again.
