HARTLEY FREAD
September 23, 1964 - September 3, 2021
Hartley was predeceased by his mother Marion Fread and his father Barry Fread. He is survived by his sister Tammy Prokop (Stan), nephew Jayden and niece Kaylee. Not to mention other relatives and friends who all miss him greatly.
Hartley was a creature of habit he lived in the same apartment building for 50 years. He was a talented artist that family still speak of to this day. His dry wit and sarcastic sense of humour pleased many that knew him.
Hartley loved his pets from his tarantulas, scorpions, birds, snapping turtles and his beloved cat Little Bear.
Hartley had a love for Lincoln vehicles and once had a 1979 Lincoln continental.
Hartley's office was Kildonan Park where he enjoyed many visits with friends and family also enjoyed an ice cream or two.
Special thanks to Rabbi Kliel Rose for a beautiful graveside service on September 6, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. We would like to thank his nephew Jayden and all the other pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hartley's name to CancerCare of Manitoba. Make a donation to
