BRIDGET PAULINE EVISON
Pauline was predeceased by her husband Ted Evison in 1998. She will be deeply missed by her children, Edward and Jill, and grandchildren, Sean, Siobhan and Matthew.
Pauline was born on August 4, 1937 in London England. She became a nurse and midwife and delivered babies all over the world. She trained in Scotland and moved to Bermuda where she met her husband Ted. They went back to England where Ed and Jill were born. Next the family moved to Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) for four years. After a brief stop in England the family once again moved and settled in Winnipeg. She worked in many of the hospitals in Winnipeg including Riverview Health Centre, Misericordia Health Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital.
After she retired Pauline went back to university and got her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, escorting them to their various activities and summer camps. Pauline also loved to travel. She returned to England and the States many times to visit with her extended family. She had an adventurous spirit and also travelled to Bali, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Bermuda and Hawaii. She then became interested in Judaism and went to Israel twice and went on to convert to Judaism. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service has been held.
Special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre and the Palliative Care and Home Care programs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Siloam Mission in Pauline's name.
