I am so saddened to hear that Archie is not here, but I do believe one day I will see him again. I have known Arch my entire life although we were separated by distance. We went to grade school together and university. I remember picking him up at his house and talking to Brenda as she rode her stationary bike. We would go to the bar scene in Winnipeg and get home late at night. He was such a great friend. The best summer jobs I had was because Arch arranged them when he worked with the government during summer employment. The best experience was when he got me a job in the Arctic circle up at the DEW Line. We drove down to Minneapolis during our college days for a vacation. Arch came to visit my wife and I in Houston some 20 years ago and more recently in Las Vegas. Many times when I visited Winnipeg I would call Arch and we would get together as if we were never separated by distance or time. That is testament to Archie's undeniable bond and friendship. I am so sorry for this tragedy and send my condolences to his wife, his sister Brenda, and everyone who loved Arch. Murray Cohen, BFF - Posted by: Murray Cohen (BFF) on: Oct 13, 2021

It is with much sadness that I and my family learned of Arch's passing. We had been neighbours, friends and carpool partners attending U of M (Dept. of City Planning). We had kept in touch over the years and attended Arch's 50th Birthday Bash, what seems like not that long ago. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed. Our sincerest condolences to his wife and family. - Posted by: Don Malinowski (Friend) on: Sep 27, 2021

Dearest Joanna, I am immensely sorry for your loss. I have only found out today and only had the time to watch the ceremony on line with heavy heart and in disbelief. The memories of you and Arch have been in my mind all day. When you first came to book your honeymoon, his kindness, his great enthusiasm and his love for your were very touching. Then the amazing wedding, so full of joy, love and laughter not to mention the delicious food and incredible entertainment. You so radiant and Arch so happy. May the love you shared and the beautiful memories give your strength in this difficult moment dear Joanna. Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences to the family. Much love, Adriana - Posted by: adriana lombardini (friend) on: Sep 26, 2021

Such sad and tragic news of my old elementary, junior high and high school friend. Archie was a clever, friendly, and gentle soul. He was kind and respectful and showed these characteristics to my father when they saw each at the office. Archie was successful in business and had many cherished friendships. To Archie's family, friends and specifically his wife Joanna, may his memory be a eternal memory. He will be missed. - Posted by: Harvey Minuk (Friend) on: Sep 25, 2021

I knew Arch Honigman my entire life as his parents were friends of my parents. My father sold his family, our house on Teakwood and so it was wierd to visit him and Brenda in my old house. Arch and Brenda were deeply loved by their parents, Arch was a gentle loving son and a particularily protective and loving brother toward his little sister, Brenda, even as a child. It was devastating for him and his sister when they lost their mother and father early in life. His good humour, gentle demeanour was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed.I am sending Condolences to his wife and family, I am truly heart broken with this news. - Posted by: Lana Lipkowitz (family friend) on: Sep 25, 2021

Our condolences to Arch’s Family. Like all of us, I was shocked. Arch and I hung around more then many years ago during the lazy summers at Winnipeg Beach. Arch was kind and gentle. I moved away from Winnipeg many years ago - and when we were having a hard time selling my mothers condo, Arch was there to help out - and found us a purchaser. May his memory be a blessing. - Posted by: Jeff Nezon (Friend) on: Sep 25, 2021
