Condolences & Memories (9 entries)
Stan was a beautiful soul and will forever be one of my greatest memories of high school. I graduated from Miles Mac in 2009 and still think of him often. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Stan, thank you for remembering each of our names and for always taking the time to stop and chat with us. You were the constant for so many students through the years. Every person that got the privilege to meet you is forever lucky. He will be so missed by many. - Posted by: Laura (Former Student) on: Oct 05, 2021

I worked with Stan in the R.E.T.S.D. and my very first assignment was with him at Miles Mac. Stan was a kind caring man who liked by all. He was very dedicated to his job and always knew each students name. You will be missed my friend. - Posted by: John Cox (Friend, Co-worker) on: Oct 01, 2021

Our heartfelt condolences to you Luba and the entire family on the passing of Stan. What a wonderful man who we were truly Blessed to have known, Stan was like family to us! Maybe not by blood, but he was part of our church family which we hold near and dear to our hearts. The smile and pride he never hid when seeing or talking about the family was truly precious. He will be missed by many, forgot by none. Forever in our memories and our hearts! Vichnaya Pamyat. Carol, Wally Sawchuk and girls - Posted by: Carol Sawchuk (Friend) on: Sep 30, 2021
Stan worked at Miles Mac during the time that I was the principal there. He was awesome at his job. Not only did I have a great deal of respect for his work ethic, I was also very impressed with his ability to connect on a respectful level with both staff and students. Stan always had the ability to get others on his side and so we never experienced some of the issues/problems that other caretakers had. In fact the students named him Staff person of the year at least twice. An honor which demonstrates the level of respect, and genuine liking, that others had for him. I was sorry to read of his passing and can only say that I consider myself lucky to have known him. My condolences to the family. Sincerely, Carolyn Lintott - Posted by: Carolyn Lintott (worked with Stan) on: Sep 30, 2021
