WILLIAM (BILL) MATTHEW PAWCHUK
May 10, 1962 - September 17, 2021
Bill was an Air Force brat who spent most of his formative years in Ontario and Manitoba. He attended Arthur Meighan High School in Portage la Prairie, MB, and the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg.
Following this he had a long career at Winnipeg's Concordia Hospital before retiring to Comox, BC. in 2014.
Bill loved fishing, cooking and barbequing (he made the best fish tacos ever), music, and caring for his garden. He especially loved the Jets NHL hockey team and was excited when they returned to Winnipeg.
He had a dry sense of humour and was a straight-up kind of guy. He was a wonderful and caring father and a loving husband.
Bill is survived by his wife Jo-Ann, his children, Brant, Carly (Cory), their mother Alison, and Kieran, Bill's mom Joan Tufford, father Earl (Robin), and sister Donna (Jack).
I was supposed to spend the rest
of my life with you
And then I realized...
you spent the rest of your life with me
I smile because I know you loved me
till the day you went away
And will keep loving me...
till the day we're together again.

Earl and Robin, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your son. May you be somewhat relieved, however, that his struggles are over and he may now Rest In Peace without suffering.
