To say that Ray enjoyed life to its fullest would be an understatement. He loved doing everything that he was involved with and enjoyed talking to everyone he met. He was truly one of Winnipeg’s “Good Guys”. - Posted by: Rick Lambert (Friend from the Red Top Sport Shop. ) on: Oct 14, 2021
Back in 1964-67 I worked as a prop maker at the Manitoba Theatre Centre, and had the pleasure of working with Ray when he and his crew came as stage hands to work the productions on stage. He was a fabulous guy to work with and was a great friend. Always happy, and willing to go the extra mile. He will be missed by all who knew him. At 92, Ray you had a good innings, may you rest in peace and God Bless you. Maurice (Moe) Butler. - Posted by: Maurice Butler (Friend) on: Oct 14, 2021
So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He and my late husband Gerry spent many hours together on the softball field officiating at games and organizing and planning clinics, etc. for softball umpires. - Posted by: Lois Howard (friend) on: Oct 13, 2021
