Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Wendy was and always will be a wonderful woman. My earliest memory would be around the third grade. I had the opportunity to become friends with her eldest daughter. Since then I have always felt and have been very thankful to be accepted by Wendy. Of course, most of the earlier years we drove her bat crazy and probably would have but Wendy is a fighter. Much of my own drive, perseverance and passion is attributed to her advice, pep talks and comical events that we shared over the years. Wendy will always have special place in my heart. She became close with my mother Grace. Since then Wendy has always cared, supported and made me feel like one of her own biological daughters. Who else would put up with me. Not only did we partake in family road trips. Wendy also supported my marriage, divorce and she had the opportunity to hold my daughter at 3 months; they share the same birthday. I'd like to say that's special. With that said, I want Jaimie, Karen, Courtney, Bennie, Barb and many more to know I will carry on her memories forever. Sincerely, Jennifer, 3 pack. - Posted by: Jennifer Weaver (My other mother.) on: Oct 16, 2021

  • Wendy and her siblings were very young when their parents Fred & Flo passed. Our Mom , Aunty Phyll would often comment on how proud she was of The Harrington’s for keeping a close family unit. Wendy’s strength and sense of family , were no doubt, key drivers to this unity. A huge loss for you all, deepest condolences. - Posted by: Kim (Wickens) Fines (Cousin ) on: Oct 10, 2021
