Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Sending deepest condolences to the Watts family on the loss of Keith. We both worked in different departments in Family Services plus being neighbours at West Hawk Lake. Keith was a real gentleman and had a great smile! Helen Waugh (Friend) - Posted by: Helen Waugh (Friend) on: Oct 22, 2021

  • Threw a lot of footballs and baseballs with Keith on our front Boulevard at 315 Madeline, many years ago. The Watts lived on Victoria from the time my family moved to Transcona. A great guy and close friend. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Blake Dunn (neighbour) on: Oct 15, 2021

  • To Keith's wife, children, his wife's family, Raymond and his Family, Barry and his family, Keith and I grew up in Transcona, he on Victoria, I on Pandora. We played on the same hockey team out of Pirate's Community Club. Keith and our friendship went beyond hockey. We chummed around regularily with 2 or three others whether it was in sports, school or other social events. Keith came from a wonderful family. Without Keith's father, many of the hockey players would not have been able to play in games a great distance from Pirates. As I had said that Keith and I played hockey on the same team for many years, but we also played Little League and Community Club baseball for the same teams. Obviously friendship would allow us to visit each other's homes. My mother thought very highly of Keith. His many visits provided laughter with no end. As we approached high school graduation, our interaction dissipated, as I accepted an opportunity to continue my secondary education in Minnesota. Distance caused us to loose communication. But if I would run into Keith, we would talk and reminisce of our younger days with tears of laughter. As we aged, we seldom crossed paths. The last time I spoke to Keith was upon his return to Transcona after SNOWBIRDING INTO TEXAS. I thanked Keith via phone for writing a beautiful memorial on my Mother's passing. It was emotionally touching that he was so many miles away and still was able to reach out. Keith was a very special person during my younger years and although our close friendship may have drifted apart, Keith will always hold a special place in my heart's memories. To all of Keith's Loved Ones, please accept my most sincerest condolences. In thought and prayer, Frankie De Marchi - Posted by: Frankie De Marchi (Friend) on: Oct 14, 2021
