JOANNE YETMAN
(née BEDDOME)
April 26, 1945 – October 1, 2021

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that Joanne's family announces the sudden passing of their beloved sister, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Harry Beddome; husband Matt Yetman; and great-grandson Ricky Maytwayashing. She is survived by her daughters, Connie and Debra; sister Barbara Green; brother Robert (Doris); her much loved grandchildren; great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
Her many talents, strength and creativity assured her of a life that was never dull. She wore many hats - everything from lounge singer - to dog catcher - to caregiver. She gave her all to whatever she undertook.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. In the meantime, Joanne's family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew her, are available there.
Always an animal lover, Joanne would have appreciated donations in her memory be made to the Humane Society.

To quote a friend, "Her star always shone
a little brighter than the rest of ours."

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Joanne was an absolute amazing woman who was always full of surprises and had an incredible zest for life. Her daughter Connie worked with me for ten years and the highlight of our day was discussing all of the hilarious sheenangans that Joanne encountered frequently and sometimes on a daily basis. Joanne was so creative and succeeded tremendously on anything she set her mind on. She always was a loving support to her family. Our deepest condolences and our prayers are sent to Joanne's entire family . • A very big virtual hug for you all and a big, big hug for Barb. - Posted by: Peter & Diana Dobbs (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2021

  • I always admired this dynamic lovely Lady - her energy, caring & generosity. Gone too soon - may she now rest in peace, in the arms of Angel. With Hugs to her loving family. - Posted by: Connie LeBlanc (friend) on: Oct 17, 2021

  • I can go on for days about nanny, how I miss her the memories I have are cherished and mine, I have so many .... laying on her floor at 6am is one that I'll never forget, eating her creations, noggies, food for Christmas and yes her love for animals I gave her, her very last cat "fat cat". I can't describe how much I'm going to miss my nanny. Best person in my life. - Posted by: Crystal (Granddaughter ) on: Oct 16, 2021
