Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
Mrs. David was my librarian growing up. I remember when she read stories to us in elementary school and when she laughed at the funny things kids would say. I also remember spending a lot of time in the library in high school. Many kids would go to her for book recommendations and she so loved talking about books. She worked really closely with my mom and the two of them really made the high school library what it was. They were good friends and Mrs. David visited my mom when she was sick. I am sad to hear of her sudden passing, and I know my mom would be too if she was still here with us. I can picture her finding her in heaven to discuss a good book. My condolences to your family. Mrs. David was a special lady. - Posted by: Stephanie Crook (Former student) on: Oct 19, 2021
My deepest condolences go out to Jennifer, Eve, David on the passing of Mrs. David. It was an honour to meet Jennifer when I was at the Winnipeg Wine Festival on the red carpet. Sadly, I've been staying home as much as possible and going on plenty of nature walks because of the COVID-19 pandemic. May this time of sorrow walk with you in the present, comfort you in the time ahead, and diminish as time passes. - Posted by: Emceed at the Trivia Night event (Attended the Winnipeg Wine Festival in 2014) on: Oct 16, 2021
