MARIA LOEWEN
February 1, 1921 - October 17, 2021
She is lovingly remembered by daughters, Marianne (Don) Dulder, Elfi (Walter) Janzen, Irene (Ron) Dyck, and Kathy (John) Neufeld. She will be missed by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her first husband of one month, Heinrich Siebert, in 1941 and her second husband of 44 years, Heinrich Loewen, in October 1997, as well as her parents and four siblings.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road, Winnipeg, with viewing before the service, followed by family interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Double vaccination and masks required.
No proof of vaccination for the viewing on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in groups of 25.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
