JOYCE LOUISE BAILEY
Joyce pursued a busy life until her final months, operating a small business for over 50 years while raising and caring for family and managing a household. In between, she tended her micro-jungle of houseplants, waiting in anticipation of a new outdoor gardening season, and constant requests meant her knitting pile would never be completed. She earlier enjoyed light recreational sports to mix and mingle with best friends, later substituted by junkets to the casino.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Louise and by her sister Edna. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Bonnie (Gary), husband George, children, Lorne (Heather), Rob in Edmonton, and many, many other family and friends.
Respecting Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
We would like to thank the palliative ward of Riverview Health Centre for their compassion and care and ask those wishing to send flowers to instead consider a donation to Riverview.
