STEPHANIE OHIRKO
Mom was born in Winnipeg, MB, the same city where she met and married Walter. In 1968 with their young children, they moved to Coquitlam, BC. There, mom created a beautiful home and life for her family; the responsibility she placed over and above anything else. Beyond homemaking, she was a realtor with Park Georgia and a board member for SHARE Society. Stephanie was also a curler; a true sportsman and skip second to none. A creative, caring, generous woman, she was never one to curse or complain. Her strength and positivity inspired us all. Mom always ensured us that tomorrow things would be better.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Michael (Rita Huang), Jillean (Carlo Puleo) and Corinne (Ken DiPietro); grandchildren, Michael, Vanessa, Makenna and Nickoli; siblings, Rosemarie Tressel, Ernie Dmytriw (Betty), Richard Dmytriw; extended Dmytriw, Tressel and Puleo families. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter; parents, Katherine and Joseph; brother Roy 2004, brother-in-law Edward Tressel.
A memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13 at the First Memorial Funeral Services Burkeview Chapel. 1350 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC.
