Walter is survived by his son Don, son Darrin ( Angie), three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, daughter Sheryl (Melissa).
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years Joyce, brothers, Vern, John, and sister Mary.
Walter served in the military as a young man. He worked in the sheet metal industry, and a career in design and drafting.
Walter loved hunting and fishing. He also coached and helped out with all of his kids sporting events .
He took pride in his yard and garden, and always shovelled his and many neighbours sidewalks.
He was able to fix anything and maintained everything he owned.
He always helped fix, build and help out any family or friends with projects they had.
Now you can be at peace.
You will be missed by many.
We love you Dad.

Our sincere condolences to Don, Darrin and Sheryl on the loss of their dad. With his passing, he has left behind so many memories for them to cherish. Walter was pleasant, hard working and always ready to lend a hand when needed. Both he and his wife, Joyce, were good neighbours and wonderful friends for many years. My deepest condolences to Walters children. I’ve know the Malak family for many years. I’ve had to pleasure to live next door to them for 12 years. The most wonder family.
