September 24, 1928 - October 30, 2021
Peter was predeceased by his first wife, Rosie Marie (Romaniuk); parents: John and Katie; brother: Bill (Anne) and sisters: Anne (John), Helen (Joe); brothers-in-law: Keith, Len, Ray, Laverne; sister-in-law: Cathy, and granddaughter; Nicole.
Peter is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances, and their children: Charlene (Calvin), Sharon, Delores (Laurent), Wanda, Clarence (Dela), and Carol; grandchildren: Brandy (Brad), Dusty, Brittney (Trevor), Marcel (Kristy), Cody, Miguel (Dawn), Adriane, Stephanie, Samuel, Rheann, Jarret, Jonathon, Shelby, and Taylor and six great-grandchildren: Brayden, Sydney, Paige, Sophie, Gavin and Emily. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Maurice (Doris), Mary, Walter, Nestor (Donna), Doris and sister-in-law: Edna.
Peter was born and raised in Emerson, Manitoba. At the age of 16, Peter went off to find employment traveling as far as Vermilion Bay and Rainy River, Ontario to Wahalla and St. Thomas, North Dakota.
Peter's favorite past time was camping and fishing with Frances and numerous friends. They also travelled to many parts of Canada and the United States.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Meadowood Manor staff for the wonderful care they provided for Peter these last two months.
The funeral service will be held at Vita Funeral Chapel 245 Railway Ave, Vita, MB on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends wishing to participate in person are welcome as long as they can present their immunization card upon arrival.
