META MATVEICIKAS
November 29, 1927 - October 31, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Meta Matveicikas announce her peaceful passing on October 31, 2021 at the Charleswood Care home at the age of 93.
She leaves to mourn her, son Peter and wife Ericka; daughter Erika and husband Rusty; grandchildren, Jennifer (Morley), Adam (Kyla); and great-grandchildren, Brett, Brock and Kade. She was predeceased by her husband Paul; sister, infant brother and her parents.
Mom was born on November 29, 1927 in Lithuania. She came to Canada in 1950 and married Dad on September 1, 1951. They had two children. Mom worked as a seamstress for Raber Glove until she retired. She loved sewing, crocheting, and doing crafts. In the summer months gardening and being outdoors was her passion. Mom loved spending time with family and she always had time for us. She was a tiny lady with a big heart.
Thank you to the staff at the Charleswood Care Home for their kind and loving care.
Cremation has taken place and arrangements are pending.
In lieu of flowers, to honour her wishes, donations could be made to a charity of your choice in her name.

We will miss you, but you will
forever be in our hearts.
