He is predeceased by his parents, Tom and Joan Croydon and his sisters, Evelyn, Dorothy and Edna.
John is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Gerry and Jim and his nieces and nephews.
John worked for Eaton's for over 30 years but was forced to retire due to illness. John loved to play video games, do puzzles, word search and he also liked gardening and listening to country music.
A big thank you to Leona, Jackie and the rest of the staff for the excellent care he received while at Vista Park Lodge. Also, a big thank you to the Wednesday afternoon group at St. Vital Mall.

Rest in peace John.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • John was my neighbor for many years. He went to Vista lodge and had the chance to visit a few times, until the pandemic. John was such a lovely person always willing to help me: cut the grass, shovel the snow. And help me in so many other ways. Thank you John for having been such a good friend. • John's brother, Bob, and I have been close friends for more than 60 years. The three of us had some pretty crazy times growing up together. I'll miss you, John. It's like one of the wheels just fell off a three wheel bike. - Posted by: Bill McDonald (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2021
