Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
I will think of Muriel whenever I see the many examples of her beautiful embroidery throughout my home. - Posted by: Cynthia (daughter-in-law) on: Nov 20, 2021
Our families were good friends from the time we were kids all growing up in Winnipeg. Playing, going on vacation and going to church. Debbie & I went to school together and Linda was friends with Lorraine & Heather. Our parents were part of "the gang". That group could really have a good time! Lots of laughing. I remember Muriel as a kind, lovely person, always with a big smile. R.I.P. Dorothy Gascoigne - Posted by: Dorothy Gascoigne (Friend) on: Nov 15, 2021
Our parents were best friends with Muriel and Ken Merrett – Auntie Muriel and Uncle Ken. We have lots of wonderful memories with the family and also Uncle Ken’s parents. As a family, we used to walk the 8 blocks to their home for an evening together – no car. We can visualize “the gang”, up in Heaven, all together again. Our heartfelt condolences to Linda, Debbie, Cynthia and family. Muriel was one of my Mom’s (Grace) most cherished friends. We heard many wonderful stories of their younger years and good times at the lake. Rest In Peace. Jim Cox & Family - Posted by: Jim Cox (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2021
