• Benji was a gift to his patients and all who knew him. He was also an individual I held in high regard. My first memory of Benji was during our first week of school - all of us moved from across the country to attend UW - he had a way of bringing community to an otherwise unconnected group, making all of us feel more at ease, despite leaving our own friends and family (I feel he held a bias for those of us from the prairies though!). Words seem grossly inadequate to honor his life. • I was incredibly saddened to hear of Benji's passing. He was an extraordinary man and we had lots of fun in Optometry school together. He will be missed by so many. • Dr. Benji was my optometrist for many years and he always made me feel very welcomed. He took time to explain things to me in terms I could understand. He was a wonderful guy. I looked forward to my eye exams every 2 years. I am truly saddened by the news of his passing and want to extend my condolences to his family, friends and everyone at Eyes in the Village.
