DORIS LEWIS
(nee MALCOLM)
January 28, 1932 - November 10, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Doris Lewis, at the age of 89.
She was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica and immigrated to Winnipeg in May 1989.
She was predeceased by her parents, daughter, two sisters, and husband, Cecil Lewis.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Vernon (Joy), Aneita (Roy), Clivey (Lorna), Maxine, Rupert (Opal) and Iola, 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother Charles (Salome), sister Millicent, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the health care team who provided her care and the home care staff that made their daily visits.
Celebration of Life will be held on November 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at New Anointing Christian Fellowship, 1425 Manitoba Ave. Viewing at 9:30 a.m. prior to service. Reception to follow at the church.
Interment will follow at a later date in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Family and friends may sign a book of condolences at the church.
