Peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, BC, Ging left this world.
Ginger was born in Greenridge, MB at Gramma Timlick's farm. He always loved to roam, and left for the Arctic the next summer. He lived in Pangnirtung and Lake Harbour, Baffin Island. After several adventures there, the family moved back to Greenridge and then bought a business in Inglis, MB. Ging made friends everywhere he went. The family then moved to Pointe du Bois, MB. Ging worked in mines around Red Lake, ON and then for Winnipeg Hydro until he started in the optical business with Charlie Bachman as his mentor. George always stayed in touch with his friends.
George leaves behind his daughters, Lisa (Larry) McPherson and grandchildren, Larissa and Wyatt; Laura (Ray) Martin; and Sophie Bestland-McCalder - the girl's mother. Also left behind are his sisters, Wendy (Jim) Bezan and Margaret (Ray) Taplin and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Irene Anderson (Timlick).
Special thanks to Miche for her help.

Rest in Peace now Ging. MIZPAH
