BETTY ELLEN DUCHARME
(nee CRANE)
July 13, 1931 - November 13, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Betty at the age of 90 years.
Mom was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; parents, James and Bernadette Crane; grandson, John; and two brothers, Jimmy and Fredric.
She leaves to mourn: her children, Jean (Lorne), John (Diane), Wayne (Marci), Louise (Peter), Darlene (Brent); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her brother Jerry (Shirley); in-laws, Olga, Mona, Roma, Anna, Rita, Romeo, Ovila, along with many nephews, nieces and friends.
In keeping with Mom's wishes cremation will take place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
We would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care for Mom during her battle with cancer.

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I'm a cousin to your Dad and I've kept in touch with your Mom over the years. She never failed to send us a Christmas card and let me know how the Ducharme cousins were doing. I actually remember going to your Mom and Dad's wedding many years ago. . .I was just a few years younger than they were. . .also attending their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a sweet person. . .my condolences to the entire family. - Posted by: Denise Moore (Cousin to Betty's husband) on: Dec 17, 2021

  • My heartfelt condolences to Betty's entire family. I know that she loved, appreciated and was so very proud of each of you. Betty was a wonderful neighbour, just like neighbours used to be a long time ago. She frequently appeared at my door with a smile on her face and a strawberry cream pie in her hands. When she saw the condition of my slippers she knitted me a new pair. Betty, you'll be missed but never forgotten.
