I knew him well. We had great conversations when he came in to shop and sometimes we would sit for coffee, Wonderful family man - Posted by: Debbie Fakes (Owner of Mr.D's Tart-n-Pie) on: Nov 21, 2021
My most sincere condolences to the family. Doug and Helen started coming to my store over 30 plus years ago. Lovely folks. They introduced me to Mr. D's Tart n' Pies and thusly my love for anything Scottish began. Thank you for everything. Our deepest condolences to Helen and Laura on the passing of your husband and father. - Posted by: Sheree and Bruce Gibson (Neighbors ) on: Nov 20, 2021
Hello, Helen. my sincere condolences for your loss. You won't likely know me, but I knew Doug way back, prior to MPI, and before Doug set up his own company. I also worked in claims, but on the company side. I crossed paths with Doug many times in the course of business, and used his services. I had the greatest respect for Doug and considered him a good person to work with. Sincerely, Chic Seabrook - Posted by: Chic Seabrook (Business associate) on: Nov 20, 2021
