He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Nelfredo Tan Jr. (Joy), Nelson (Cristina); daughters, Emmie (Val), Rose, Sharon (Raul); grandchildren, Jojo, Tanisha, Janelle, Keanna, Nathan, Charlize, Kirstin, Caitlin, Kiera; brothers, Necaster (Rita), Leopoldo (Maria); sisters, Elsie, Emsie, Susan (Victor), Cynthia; nephews, nieces and relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Juanito and Anecita Tan; brothers, Rolando, Pancho; and sister, Shirley.
Nelfredo lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and families, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his teasing jokes and entertaining stories and most of all his kindness and friendly smile.
A public viewing will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel at 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 26 and 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
