Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • So very sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing .... far too young. I remember her from many years ago in the Computer Services department at the University, always energetically focused on her work. And if I recall correctly, she had been the Science Faculty Queen even before that at U of M. I know she will be missed by many, such a vibrant personality. Condolences to all the family. - Posted by: Ian Brown (Ex co-worker at U of M) on: Dec 01, 2021

  • Robin and Family, We are very sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. I have great memories of Marilyn playing as a forward in ringette and I could always count on her to get the ring into the corner of the net. She was so much fun at ringette parties and performing in the skits at tournaments. Marilyn was always the first one at weekend getaways to get the newspaper so she could do all the crosswords first which she completed in record time. She will be missed. Take care! • Robin, Linda and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to you, your children, grandchildren and the Sharpe family on Marilyn’s passing. We both have fond memories of days long ago when we all curled together and would get out for pizza and refreshments or of the fun times at the Coty Welfare Dept. parties. We all enjoyed Marilyn’s company and her kind nature. Linda recalls curling with Marilyn in a women’s league and remembers her as enjoying the competitive environment of curling while always supporting her team. May she now Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Ken and Linda Prout (Friends) on: Nov 28, 2021
