On November 22, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his wife Anjela at his side, Ken peacefully passed away.
Ken was born May 5, 1973 in Winnipeg Manitoba to Poul and Linda Buus. The second of three children.
The family moved to "The Farm" in East Selkirk in 1985. There was no other place that Ken wanted to live. He started working for the family business at a young age and never looked back. He loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors and spending time with all of his families. In 1991 he met Anjie and that was the beginning of their adventures.
Ken made lasting impressions on all he met. He loved to spend time flirting and dancing with all of his friends grandmothers, mothers and aunts. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. He worked hard and treated all he met as family.
If you did not know Kenny Buus at the beginning of the event by the end of the night you did. Not one person was spared from his loving but mischievous smile, his hugs or the numerous kisses he would be bestow on absolutely everyone; male and female alike.
There were very few places in Manitoba you could go without the fateful….. Hey where you from?......Selkirk? OH! You know Kenny Buus?

  • Kenny definately was a people person, and this you knew from the first time you met him. We will always remember Kenny for his kindness, smile, jovial and easy going nature. He always made us laugh, and when he would come by for a visit time was all he had to give. Ed enjoyed his hunting expeditions with Kenny, helping Kenny train his dog and these memories we will hold onto. His friendship will be missed, but he will be forever in our hearts. • RIP Kenny Buus. We all will miss you. I never knew Kenny for a long time. But he treated my son and I like family. WE "CLICKED" without trying. You know when you meet a good person, you keep coming back cause their company feels good. THATS KENNY. He sold my son his first boat rig and said....I get the first ride to get the big fish, when its fixed up. Kenny, that ride can't come now. But, when we get fishing in that boat will be with us in memory in our hearts. CHEERS MY FRIEND. YOU LEFT US TOO SOON. Our deepest condolences too the family. - Posted by: Greg Shupenia (Local friends ) on: Nov 29, 2021
