Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • "Jimmy" as all the car guys called him was one of the best with Mopars. I remember when Jimmy parked his Hemi Scout at the Big Boy, a vehicle with Hutterites pulled in to admire it. Jimmy was in his glory! Our condolences to the family. Rest in peace Jim. Dan and Linda Tysz Kenora on. - Posted by: Dan Tysz (Friend) on: Dec 01, 2021

  • CHUMMED AROUND WITH JIM FOR MANY YEARS IN OUR YOUNGER DAYS FIXING UP CARS, & HAVING FUN IN WEST END. JIM WAS A VERY FAST DRIVER AND SCARED MANY PASSENGERS. JIM THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY FUNNY AND LAUGHED LOUDLY. WHEN JIM PAINTED MY STOCK CAR FOR THE RACE TRACK AND PAINTED "SLOW-BOY" ON THE ROOF HE LAUGHED EVEN MORE. WE WILL MISS HIS SENSE OF HUMOUR, HIS KIND NATURE AND HIS FRIENDSHIP. R.I.P. • I went to school with Jim, always a nice guy. Then he moved from Weston to the West End, saw him at Softy's a few times. RIP Jim. - Posted by: Tom Hamilton (Friend) on: Nov 30, 2021

  • I was very sad to hear that Jim had passed away. We shared a great friendship when we attended Tev Voc school. We always had fun together talking and enjoying life. He was such a gentle and kind soul. A true gentleman he was and we always knew that our time together was precious. We shared lots of interested and one of them was cars. He belonged to the Timers Car Club and how he loved to tinker around to make that car his own. The team had rented a barn one year to store and work on their cars. One night when we were all there a fire started. Jim was more worried about getting me out than his car. That was the kind of person he was. Caring!!!!!!! They all lost their cars but we were all safe and sound.. Memories are all that Jim has given me and I will treasure them always. As for his children and grand kids remember all the memories that you have of him. They will always remain close to your heart and help you through these days to come. Prayers are there for you all. Thank you Jim for allowing me to be part of your life which I will always remember. Donna - Posted by: donna (friends) on: Nov 29, 2021

  • I’m sorry for your loss. I had been delivering Jim’s meds for many years. Although our chats were brief I always enjoyed them. He will be missed. - Posted by: Mark (Medds driver) on: Nov 27, 2021
