Mom, it is hard to believe a year has passed since you have been gone,
As I think of you every day.
I was never ready for you to leave.
The saddest moment is when the person who gave you the best memories,
Becomes a memory.
We begin to remember not just that you died,
But that you lived.
And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
Crying is a way your eyes speak when your
Mouth can't explain how broken your heart is.
The hardest part wasn't losing you,
It was learning to live without you.
