Rose-Marie Angèle Léona Fillion was born on August 26, 1940 in St. Joseph, MB. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, mémère, great-grandma, sister, and friend on November 13, 2021, at the age of 81.
Rose-Marie will be remembered for her sewing, baking, cooking, and love of her family. She will live forever in our hearts and will be cherished by her children: Michel (Leanne), Liette (Dave), Marie-Lynne (Bob); her grandchildren: Danielle (Daniel), Nicole (Ryan), Jennifer, Rion, Alex (Katie), Stephanie (Jason), Eric (Ali); her great-grandchildren: Kade and Brielle; her brothers: Marcel, Maurice (Rita), Adonias Jr. and Alfred (Madeleyne); her sisters: Louise, Agnès (Norm), and Jacqueline (Antonio): sisters-in-law: Huguette (Wilfrid), Betty (Jean-Guy), and Jean Gordon (Laurent); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Rose-Marie was predeceased by her parents: Adonias and Léona; brothers: Marcel, Wilfrid, Sylvio, Jean-Guy, and Laurent; sisters: Lucille, Raymonde, and Ginette.
For the past 20 years Mom resided at Marwood South Long-Term Care facility across from Langley Memorial Hospital. We would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care they provided "Rosie" as they called her. Also, to all the family and friends who took the time to visit her.
