BRIAN HALAYKO

Peacefully on November 26, 2021, with loved ones by his side, Brian Halayko passed away at the age of 74 after a courageous five-year battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey (Helmut), grandson Jaxon; sisters, Beverely, Theresa (Bart) and Elizabeth (Dan); sister-in-law Joyce, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Halayko, beloved wife Audrey, and brothers-in-law, Bernie, Karl and Raymond.
Brian enjoyed his career as a pipefitter at CP Rail and was able to retire at the age of 49. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, quadding, gardening and going on long walks with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing baseball and bowling. Brian loved watching his grandson play hockey and he was always there for his family and friends when they needed him. His passing leaves a huge void in this world to all that knew and loved him.
A private service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Friends Funeral Service. The service will be livestreamed at:
