Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I first met Kathy at Strathmillan where we worked together. She was a truly amazing friend. She joined our bridge club where I got to know her better. I loved listening to her many stories. I have wonderful memories of Kathy and will keep them close to my heart. My condolences to Kathy’s family. She was very proud of all of her family. - Posted by: Jennifer (Friend) on: Dec 12, 2021

  • All of us from "Monday bridge" were terribly saddened by Kathy's sudden passing. She was a warm, witty, and genuinely kind person. We were often laughing heartily after one of her "well let me tell you" stories. I was so thankful she came to our September luncheon, joining everyone from the group. (which hardly ever happens!) I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to Dawn, Laura, Joan, and all other members of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. - Posted by: Margo Laing (friend from bridge club) on: Dec 08, 2021

  • I knew your mom through our Bridge club. (all of us worked in St. James School Division). Kathy was a gentle soul and a woman of great compassion. She also had great patience as I was new to the group and still learning. She never got upset with me. I truly valued my friendship with her and so grateful was able to see her in Sept. She was so proud of her family. I offer my sympathy on the loss of a truly wonderful woman. - Posted by: Cindy Stewart (Friend) on: Dec 05, 2021

  • Although I haven’t seen Kay for years, our families were next door neighbors at the lake for years. Kay was a wonderful, soft spoken woman who was a very kind soul. She was a wonderful mother and friend to everyone. I’m so sorry for your loss Dawn, Laura and Joan. She’s back with your dad (Donald Duck) lol and that’s what will help you through your grief. Take care and again our deepest condolences - Posted by: Dawn Rotinsky (Glover) (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2021
