On behalf of our families, I wanted to express our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Madeline certainly lived a long and full life. She was connected to our families over the many years she was with our aunt Winona. We remember Winona and Madeline coming to family celebrations and how we enjoyed hearing of their many interests, hobbies, pets and of their travel adventures. We all have fond memories of how Madeline enlivened our family gatherings with her ready smile, laugh and down-to-earth wisdom. That was a lovely obituary, which captured a life well lived and you could see the twinkle in her eye in the picture. We know how grateful Winona was to have found such a loyal and supportive friend who was there for her over the years. They shared so many interests and were very happy together.
