DAVADA DEBORAH CARLSON
July 6, 1947 November 23, 2021
Gracious, beautiful, compassionate, caring, and "a wise old soul" are just some of the kind words that all that knew her would use to describe her. We knew her as mom, Davada, aunt, sister and dear friend whose gentle presence could fill a room.
Davada was born in Brandon Manitoba, lived throughout the Province and settled in Winnipeg to have a family and further her career in pharmacy. Her two boys, many nieces, nephews, sister, aunts and uncles, and loving stepfamily were her world. Davada and her late dance partner travelled to many great places and experienced great memories together as a blended family.
Davada retired in the mid 2000s, had many passions including vestry at Holy Trinity, working on many volunteer committees and continuing her education. But as busy as she was, there was always time to share with family and her many friends.
Caring for everyone she knew, she cherished her family, embraced friends and showed everyone she met kindness, dignity and respect.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1K1. Private family interment will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. So sorry for the loss of your dear mother. I have very fond memories of working with Davada in Pharmacy at Tache Nursing Centre. She was such a beautiful lady and always so happy. May she Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Venetia Bourrier (Colleague & friend) on: Dec 07, 2021
I met Davada as a fellow volunteer with Patient Partners in Arthritis in Winnipeg. She certainly was a gracious woman with a gentle sense of humour. Due to Covid we have been unable to continue to meet as a group for lunch but we were all looking forward to seeing her again hopefully in the new year. She will be truly missed. I know her involvement in her church was something that was important to her. She made a difference and leaves a void but also many memories of a warm caring person. - Posted by: Mary Bawden (Friend) on: Dec 05, 2021
