JUDY ALICE TINLING
1946 - 2021

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the loss of our beloved wife and mother Judy. The greatest wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend any person on this earth could have.
Judy (Judzy nicknamed by her younger brothers) or Jude by her sweetheart of 52 years suffered a horrific disease called ALS. She fought a good fight but peacefully in her sleep at the Grace Hospital she passed on November 23, 2021.
Judy lived at the Brummit-Feasby ALS house where she was taken care of by the most wonderful and caring people. One of the employees would go to see my mom each morning before she started her day and said that her smile and welcoming hello always started her day off right.
Judy was a person that anyone could be drawn to. Her hello was said in a way as if she had not seen you in a long time and was so grateful to see you that day. Her caring nature had people want to talk to her and she would be so drawn into the conversation that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world at that time.
She was an amazing cook and baker. Her favourite baking time was Christmas (the most favourite time of the year for her). She baked for her whole family and loved every minute of it. She had Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving dinner every year and each time she would have the biggest smile on her face and so amazed at all the people that were in her home and would be the happiest lady in the world.
She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She made sure that she had a special relationship with each one of her grandkids, nieces and nephews, always made sure she remembered their birthdays and made sure you were the most special person in the world that day.
Judy leaves to cherish her life with her husband, Charlie; her children, Kimberley (husband Peter, children, Joshua, Matthew and Kayty) and Bryan (wife Cindy, son Quincy); brothers, Jack (wife Stella, children Kelly, Melanie, and Katherine) and Jamie (wife Holly, son Jordie) and her two nephews, Jason and Greg Morris.
Predeceased by her brother Bob and his wife Jan; her parents, George and Alice Morris; and her in-laws, Syd and Marie Holmes, and Percy and Helen Tinling.
She also leaves behind so many friends from her home on Lemmen Drive (The Lemmen Drivers). She was so loved by everyone and could not help to be drawn to her.
A very large thank you to the Brummit-Feasby ALS house for taking care of Judy; there was no better care we could not have asked for, for Judy.

"We love you and will miss you always"

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My biggest regret is not having the chance to see you and your family for the longest time. I know that the regret will be eased when you meet up with my dear Wendy in heaven. Life is far far to short. Speaking of that, I do hope you have no problem finding Wendy in a crowd. I will always have a special place in my heart for you, as well as your loved family. My deepest regards, "yewch" - Posted by: Brian D. Yewchyn,C.I.M. (friend) on: Dec 04, 2021

  • Charlie, Kim, Pete, Bryan & Cindy. I am so sorry for your loss. “Aunt Judy” was one of the most amazing, outgoing and positive people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have fond memories of watching the Grey Cup on Lemmen Dr. and getting a dose of Aunt Judy’s famous Chili! My heart goes out to you in this time of sadness. She is no longer in pain and am sure reuniting with friends from the past. Blessings to you. - Posted by: Doug Warkentin (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2021
