LINDA TENNANT
She will be greatly missed by her children, Miles Tennant and Mindy Crawley (Alec); mother Mildred Leschyson; sister Michelle Leschyson; grandchildren, Milla, Cito and Kiera, nephew Keenan and niece Mackenzie. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Donald Tennant.
Linda worked at CN Railway, starting her career as a typist and excelled over the years to Marketing Officer in Grain Marketing, from which she had been retired. She always kept busy knitting something for someone, and was quite talented. However, she was most known for her delicious cooking and baking. Her Ukrainian perogies and holopchi will especially be missed. Linda also liked to travel, her most recent road trip to Calgary was to visit her son. Her daughter and three grandchildren drove together and it was an adventure! Her favourite pastime was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be terribly missed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with interment and reception to follow. Please R.S.V.P. to Chapel Lawn for those who wish to attend.

We are so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. Although we lost touch over the years as people do, we still thought of her often. We were great friends in high school and were in each other’s bridal parties. We shared many laughs and many great times. Sincerely Tom and Maureen Fryza - Posted by: Maureen Fryza (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2021
