• I am so very thankful for having the beautiful privilege to have such a wonderful father-in-law as dad Jacobson. There will forever be a void in the family, but we all are comforted to know he is now with mom, his sweetheart. I first met dad in 1976 when I started dating his son David. I have such fond memories of dad, coming to his house at lunch time together with Dave, as we both attended high school together. Dad was a bus driver and worked split shifts for the city of Winnipeg Transit, so he was home during the lunch hour. Dad would often make sandwiches for Dave and I and then we would play a game of crokinole or cribbage, which he taught me. I was always so impressed how he helped mom around the house and how he loved her dearly. Dad was always there for all of his kids and their families, a strong man who cared and supported in every way always to show how much he loved us all. Years ago I had some health struggles, to show love and support dad took Dave & I with Mom out for the weekend to Kenora, this was to encourage me to get better. He helped me so much and I could always count on him. I always felt accepted, a part of his family and loved by dad and mom. Mom & dad Jacobson were a pillar of strength in the family, they always encouraged all of us to keep pushing forward, no matter how difficult this life can be. Dad supported us during his son David’s, my husbands health struggles and throughout other difficult family circumstances, such as when our son had his accident. We know God works through others, and the love that we received from mom and dad often felt like the hand of God. Thank you dad for all your love, you will never be forgotten…rest in peace with mom in the arms of Jesus. • Very sad to hear of Uncle Clarence's passing. I knew him to be a genuinely nice man. Friendly, kind and honest, he and my Aunt Maude raised together a family of 5 children, with Love, Fairness and Respect. Always the friendly host he would welcome you to his home with a smile, a cold beer and a seat on the couch. My memories of you Uncle Clarence are fond. May you rest in peace.
