Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Auntie Mary will forever live on in all of our hearts; she was a most loving, most amazing woman. How lucky and blessed we were to have her in our extended family growing up. Whenever Auntie Mary & family came to visit us, there always were delicious treats. She was so generous and thoughtful always. Her smile, her laugher, her super sense of humour were beautiful. My treasured memories of all the holidays, Drobot weddings, and family get togethers with Auntie Mary will ease the sadness of how much I will miss her. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Marilyn Bush (Niece ) on: Dec 08, 2021

  • I am one of the earliest here. Knew her when we were all so small. Just down the lane. Grew up mostly side to side. Drobots would have one, Snowdons would have one, and so on. Until, at one point they surpassed us. We were 7 all at that point. They ended up with 10, us with 7! Loved the family. One of the very best parts of my growing up. Mary (and John) were "salt of the earth", Was so good to speak to her so long ago. Marilyn - Posted by: Marilyn Pantermoller (Snowdon) (Friend, old neighbour) on: Dec 08, 2021

  • Dear Drobot family, Sending prayers and comforting hugs to all the family. Mary was so kind and genuine and had such a huge heart. I still have a picture of our sons christening cake (42) that mom designed a beautiful cake, and delicious. Wonderful age. Vichnaya pam'yat. • Dona & family, Sincere sympathy to you and your siblings. I remember your mother so well from my younger days when family got together in Transcona or at your grandfather’s farm. - Posted by: Cheryl (Odette) Hnatiuk (My mothers 1st cousin) on: Dec 07, 2021

  • To the family my deepest condolences on the loss of your precious Mother & Grandmother. I remember visiting many times the Drobot home on Munroe Ave. where I would be greeted by a friendly hello & beautiful smile by your Mom. You will all have many memories to share with each other in this very large family. May she Rest in Peace. • We will miss Auntie Mary always and she will be forever remembered as a very loving and caring Auntie. Even with 10 children, she still had room to take in my Sister and I for holidays in the city with our cousins. It was the best of times for us country kids. She was kind, generous and always had a joke up her sleeve. Her happy disposition is an inspiration to us all. - Posted by: Theresa Hunter (Niece ) on: Dec 07, 2021
