ISAAC STAHL

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isaac Stahl (Ike), aged 71 years, of Linden, Manitoba. He was surrounded by his loving family as he passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus.
He is survived by his cherished wife Magdalena (Lena) and their daughters Magdalene, Julie (Jason), and Laura (Craig), sons, Mark (Amber) and Nathan (Diana), his sisters, Rachel Waldner (Josh), Anna Waldner (Jake), Katie Waldner (Jack deceased), Susie Kleinsasser (Sam), Sara, and Lydia Kleinsasser (Levi), his brothers, John (Sarah), Reuben (Susanna), and David (Margaret) and grandchildren, Samantha, Ethan, Isabella, Ardun, Josephine, Norah, Violet and Maximus. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Levi Wollman.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Rachel, oldest brother Joseph, and youngest sister Matilda.
He was born on June 5, 1950, in Elie, Manitoba. Isaac met his wife of 44 years, Lena at Suncrest Colony and they were married on July 3, 1977. They left their Hutterite community near Virden Manitoba, on June 10, 1985 and settled in the community of Landmark, Manitoba along with his brother David and family.
Isaac was employed in construction, as an illuminated sign technician and as a long distance trucker, spending 20 years touring and sightseeing North America with his wife.
Isaac was a loving family man at heart, who cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren unconditionally. He joyfully shared his life story and faith in Jesus Christ with everyone he met. He was continually positive, always selfless, loved life and community; he showed genuine interest in getting to know everyone he met, and left a lasting impression and legacy. He loved, lived, laughed and believed without reservation.
A public come and go viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 starting at 7:00 pm. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Please line up your vehicles on the west side of the building and wait to be directed inside.
The funeral service will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, by invitation for in person attendance and live streamed for those who wish to join the family.
