ELEANOR EDITH MARY MCLAUGHLIN
(nee GIBBS)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother on November 16, 2021.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Wilburt and Lional; daughter Rae-Allen; grandson Billy and stepdaughters, Leslie and Kathy.
Left to mourn is her husband Lenard; children, Gerry (Kathy), Lenore, Allen (Helen); stepdaughters, Nadine and Connie; grandchildren, Carol, Alana, Kathy, Jennifer, Jason; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom's loyal companion Shiba misses her.
Mom was born in McGregor, Manitoba on April 9, 1935. Mom grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba and worked at Eaton's for many years, then moved to Portage la Prairie, where she worked at the Manitoba School until she retired. Over the past 45 years, mom helped on the farm with her husband Lenard in Amaranth, Manitoba.
A Celebration of Life was held at Omega Funeral Home in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on Saturday, November 27, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter.
