• Friendship with Wes is a life changing experience for anyone who is fortunate enough to know him well. His word was his bond and he had your back in any circumstance, self created or often a joint effort. I cherish the memories of many evenings and outings over several decades spent with Wes and his loving partner Jan. They were a couple who lived, loved and enjoyed life to the fullest together. Over coming monumental challenges and still supporting each other throughout all of it. Wes had so many friends and impacted the lives of so many of us it will be impossible to for his spirit to die out. Christmas at the Schilke home was memorable for the special crab feast, the laughs and drinks and even the hotly contested games of dominoes. You can not spend time with Wes and not come away feeling better for it. Wes my friend will be so dearly missed and I cannot regret more any time absent from his company than I do now.
