Very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. My condolences to the family. My father worked at Emco with Ed for many years at 801 Century. I joined Emco as a teen working with Ed in Shipping and Receiving. I can tell you I learned quickly about work quality. Looking back, I was so terrified of him and really tried not to mess up the orders. I think my Dad knew Ed would set me straight and he did. I later joined Ed in my 20's at Western Supply working the counter as a rookie. They were great years with a great mentor and entertainer. He could really let you have it sometimes, we all had fun with it...especially the customers. He would not hesitate to call me aside and explain himself though. That was when his knowledge, experience and willingness to teach really stuck with me. He made you think. He provided the straight goods with no sugar coating...he did it well and was respected for it. You always knew where you stood with him. His methods were simple but they worked. Routine and Shear Repetition. Thanks for everything Ed, you'll be missed. Lonnie - Posted by: Lonnie Farr (Former Co-Worker) on: Dec 15, 2021

My sincere condolences Gaye. I am sorry to read of Grizzs passing. We spent many hours together chasing ducks, fishing, and of course many a brew at the legion. I will miss him. R.I.P. - Posted by: bob sands (Friend) on: Dec 11, 2021
